Fire and Ice of Child Crib Sets Are Enjoyment and Safety

There are four things to consider when choosing baby bedding for your nursery: safety issues, style of the room, your baby’s gender, and long-term utility. For instance you may be very excited about setting up a nursery for your new infant, but you can make certain choices about the baby bedding and room design for them to be suitable when your child is two years old as well. Infancy is a quick phase and it will be over before you know it, so you should prepare the nursery so that it is still usable beyond infancy.

Safety is the most important thing when you are deciding on baby bedding. The most important thing is your baby’s safety, in order to reduce the risks of choking or other hazards, your baby needs a firm mattress, with no pillow top, and a well-fitting sheet. It is important to use sheets that actually fit your baby’s mattress, and not just any size flat sheet that you fold beneath the mattress. This will protect your infant from entanglement or suffocation. You can add a flat, waterproof pad under the sheet to protect the mattress from all the wet accidents that are sure to happen.
